Intercultural Dialogue

Intercultural identities can and should be created in a context of ethnic diversity. We understand cinema as a privileged instrument of empathy and the encounter of narratives and which allows the elaboration of the artistic entity through plurality, bringing to the fore diverse sociocultural backgrounds, without fear of touching wounds, of identifying advances and setbacks, what is stagnant or that which is ambivalent

 

In partnership with Associação Renovar a Mouraria, we will launch an Open Call for films around the theme of Integration and Intercultural Dialogue in the next edition of the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival.

 

In 2025, we plan to start small workshops to introduce documentaries so that inhabitants of various ethnicities can produce self-reflexive micro films, with honors for screening at the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival.
