Cinalfama Association promotes events that seek out and amplify emerging voices in world cinema. In doing so, we also aim to revitalize Alfama and recover its sense of community, which has been numbed by its profound transformations experienced in recent years.

We do this in three distinct moments:

Regular competitive screenings that, during the year, animate Alfama's neighborhood in a permanent cinematographic observatory.

An annual open-air event celebrating independent world cinema - 2nd edition in July 2023.

Permanent work of reflection on the archive and the memory of Alfama.
