Sobre o evento
Born in 1978 in Lisboa. João Gomes has a degree in Cinema at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC) where he also completed his Masters with the highly regarded film A NOITE DE SANTO ANTÓNIO (Vigo, Blow Up Chicago, TCM London, Figueira da Foz and many others).
His first feature film was NATÁLIA, A DIVA TRAGICÓMICA (2011), a landmark documentary produced for RTP2 (public cultural television). All of his films (including ESTÓRIAS and TIO CARLOS 1942-1969) were broadcasted on tv.
Currently producing and directing his 6th film, the Portuguese/Spanish coproduction COUTO MIXTO.
Film critic and translator of cinema publications for Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
